Private yacht charters in Cabo San Lucas

Twenty-one private yachts and fifteen catamarans and event boats, from a 27-foot day boat for two to a 130-foot superyacht. Sunset at El Arco, humpback season, swim stops in clear bays and celebrations on the water, arranged around your group.

Welcome aboard

The Los Cabos coastline is best seen from the water

Cabo San Lucas sits where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez, and the most memorable way to experience it is aboard a boat of your own: the granite arch at Land's End, sea lions basking on the rocks, a swim in a quiet bay and a sunset that turns the cliffs to gold.

Yachts Los Cabos arranges private charters, so the vessel, captain and crew are reserved for your group. You choose the boat, the length of the charter and the mood of the day; we match those plans to a yacht or catamaran that suits your numbers, then confirm every detail in writing before you book. Two people marking an anniversary and a wedding party of one hundred go through the same simple process: tell us what you have in mind, and we will show you the options that fit.

Two fleets, one standard

Motor yacht or catamaran? Choose your style.

Motor yachts bring speed, polish and air-conditioned interiors. Catamarans bring stability and wide, shaded decks that groups love. Both come with a captain and crew who know these waters.

The destination

Land's End, El Arco and two seas in one day

At the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet beneath a wall of granite. A charter out of Cabo San Lucas usually begins with this view: El Arco, the famous arch carved by the waves, with sea lions dozing on the rocks and pelicans gliding over the swell.

Lover's Beach (Playa del Amor) faces the calm Sea of Cortez, while Divorce Beach on the other side takes the full force of the Pacific, two very different moods a few steps apart. Beyond the bay, the coastline toward San José del Cabo opens into sheltered coves that are popular for snorkeling when the sea allows. Your captain reads the wind and swell each day and chooses the best stops for your group.

Choosing a vessel

Which boat suits your group?

Quick answer

Couples and small families are well served by day boats and flybridge yachts of 27 to 50 feet. Groups of about 12 to 30 usually compare luxury yachts of 75 to 100 feet with catamarans of 50 to 63 feet. From 30 up to 120 guests, event yachts and event catamarans are the right fit. For comfort, choose a vessel whose listed maximum is comfortably above your head count.

Guest notes

Kind words from past charters

Just want to thank you again for helping create our wonderful time on a yacht. Everything aboard went as perfectly as we could have imagined. The yacht was beautiful, the service was great and you kept each step of the itinerary moving on time. We had an incredible day.

Julian and Gregery Peterson

I booked a romantic dinner for two on a yacht to surprise my husband for his birthday. The crew was courteous, professional and knowledgeable about the area. We had surf and turf on board while watching the sunset. It was breathtaking and the food was divine.

Caroline S.

This was the first time I had ever rented a yacht and our expectations were high. The captain was fun, relaxed and informative and paced our four-hour evening trip just right, including a stop at the Arch for photos. The crew kept the drinks and food coming all evening.

Questions & answers

Chartering in Cabo, answered

The questions we hear most from guests planning their first private charter in Cabo San Lucas.

Ask us something else

We arrange private yacht and catamaran charters in Cabo San Lucas and the wider Los Cabos area: half-day and full-day cruises, sunset cruises, snorkeling and swim stops, seasonal whale watching, celebrations, weddings and corporate events. Longer charters can also be discussed, and we arrange La Paz charters on request.

Use the quote form, message us on WhatsApp, call +1 (305) 515-4735 or email info@YachtsLosCabos.com. Include your date, number of guests, preferred time and duration, the occasion and any vessel you like. We reply with suitable options, what each includes and the price.

A half-day charter is four hours and a full day is eight hours; additional hours are charged separately. Sunset cruises are timed around the sunset for your date, and multi-day or weekly charters can be quoted on request.

Anything from a couple to a large event. Our yachts run from small day boats to the 72' and 74' Blue Water event yachts for up to 50 guests, and the largest catamaran in our collection lists up to 120 guests. The figure shown for each vessel is its maximum, so we recommend choosing a boat rated comfortably above your head count.

No. The charters we arrange reserve the vessel, captain and crew for your group alone, so the itinerary, music and pace are yours.

Yes. Every yacht and catamaran we present is operated by its own professional captain and crew, who handle navigation, safety and service on board. You do not need any boating experience.

It depends on the vessel. The captain and crew are always part of the charter, fuel is normally included on our catamaran charters, and many boats include snorkel gear. Food, drinks, water toys and decorations vary from boat to boat, so your written quote lists exactly what is included and what is optional.

Most charters board in Cabo San Lucas. The exact marina, dock and meeting time are stated in your confirmation, together with any arrival instructions from the crew.

Humpback whales typically visit Los Cabos from about mid-December to mid-April, with many sightings in January, February and March. Whales are wild animals, so sightings can never be guaranteed, but a private boat lets you watch at your own pace. See whale watching for details.

On many charters you may bring your own beverages, while other packages include bar service or catering. Policies differ by vessel, so we confirm what is allowed and what is provided for the boat you choose. Catering can be added to most charters for an additional fee.

Yes. We help plan yacht and catamaran weddings, receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, bachelor and bachelorette parties and company events. Start with our wedding page or private celebrations guide.

Safety comes first. Captains and the port authority can restrict departures when wind or sea conditions are unsafe. If your charter cannot go ahead, the options available, such as rescheduling, follow the terms in your written confirmation, so please review the weather and cancellation policy before you book.
